COLUMBIA, Mo. - Karissa Schweizer has become the second consecutive Tiger to be recognized as the SEC Women's Freshman Runner of the Year, as released by the conference office on Tuesday, November 11. Following in the footsteps of teammate Kaitlyn Fischer, who won the award last year, Schweizer was the top freshman finisher in the field at the SEC Championships on October 31 in Tuscalooa, Ala., crossing in 17th overall with a final time of 20:41.13 for the 6000-meter course.
