Missouri teammates Skylar Ciccolini and Sophia Rivera finished fourth and eighth, respectively, in the women's javelin throw at the NCAA Division 1 West Regional at Sacramento State. Ciccolini produced a first-round throw of 182-9 (55.70m) and Rivera, representing Puerto Rico, achieved a mark of 180-3 (54.95m) on her opening attempt to both secure their berths in the June 8 final at the Division 1 championship meet in Austin, Texas.
